LakeRim Partners

• The LakeRim Web site has evolved over the past several years through the efforts of numerous partners.
  
  

• 	IGS	The Indiana Geological Survey hosts the vector data sets for the interactive map and maintains the server hardware and software.
  	USACE	The U.S. Army Corpse of Engineers provides funding to update the LakeRim interactive mapping Web site.
  	IDNR	The Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Lake Michigan Coastal program provides funding for the development of GIS layers and metadata, and the redesign of the LakeRim Web site.
  	CGDA	The Center for Geospatial Data Analysis, Indiana Geological Survey, creates GIS layers and metadata, and provides user support.
  	IDEM	The Indiana Department of Environmental Management serves as a liason between the IGS, DNR, and USACE.
  	IU UITS	University Information Technology Services (UITS), Indiana University, hosts the imagery that is available on the map viewer.
  	IU NWI GIS Forum	The Northwest Indiana GIS Forum at Indiana University Northwest serves as a point of contact in the region and provides assistance with metadata creation.
  	Hammond Sanitary District	The Hammond Sanitary District serves as a point of contact in the region and provides local data from their municipality.
